This is what’s being seen by epileptic patients who are exposed to this sort of light source. The possible reason behind this is that epileptic patients have a lower threshold on what can potentially cause seizures in them.
So, Why Is Phone Flashlight Disabled? Well, it’s due to the reasons stated above and there are some things we can do about it:
- Go into your phone settings and disable the flashlight feature if you don’t need it and enable it when you need it
- Charge your phone for longer periods of time so that the flashlight feature won’t drain its battery
- Download apps such as Flux and Twilight which can help control the amount of blue light coming from our phones, protecting our eyes while we’re using them.
